Welcome to my web site.As you have no doubt guessed ,my name is Gene Stone.I was born and raised in Cashmere Washington.Second son of Bill and Doris Stone.I attended school in Cashmere and graduated from Cashmere High School in 1975.After school I went to work for General Telephone which later became Verizon. I worked there 32 years and held many positions in the company. The most recent was that of an equipment technician in the East Wenatchee Cental Office.I took care of a total of 5 offices and several outside plant modules and remote sites.The geographical area I covered encompassed the whole of Douglas County Washington.I have since retired due to the sale of Verizon communications to Frontier communications.The photos on this page show the office where I used to work (East Wenatchee Central Office).In these pages I will try to tell you about myself and my interests and hopefully you will enjoy this site and learn a little about me.
